Paper submission


English will be the official language of the Symposium. 

All submissions (extended abstracts or full papers) will be peer reviewed, the accepted ones being published in the ISFEE 2014 CD proceedings of the Symposium and, as accepted full papers, in the IEEE Xplore (Cat. No.:CFP1493Y-ART ISBN: 978-1-4799-6821-3).

Please register and upload your paper(s) by creating an account on our website.

In order to submit your contribution, please follow the steps below:
 
A. Write your paper or abstract in MS Word or Latex using

Extended abstract must have 1-2 pages pointing out the main results. A full paper has 4 to 6 pages.


B. Use IEEE PDF eXpress to build your PDF manuscript in order to be compatible with the IEEE Xplore format:

  • Enter the IEEE PDF eXpress site http://www.pdf-express.org (opens on 9/15/2014.)
  • Click “New Users”, if you are in this position, provide all required information, and choose your password. The establishment of your account will be acknowledged by e-mail.
  • If you used this software in the past, enter 34184X for the Conference ID and use your old password.
  • Provide all information required and upload your MS Word or Latex file and click “Submit”.
  • After a short processing, you can take your IEEE Xplore compatible PDF paper from the IEEE PDF eXpress site or from the e-mail that is sent to your e-mail address.

    C. (Only for the first Submission of Extended abstract or Full Paper) Upload your IEEE Xplore compatible PDF paper together with the corresponding MS Word or Latex file (only for the full papers), in your account on the conference website (in Step 3 of the Submission, as Supplementary files). This file is needed for the plagiarism test performed by the TPC Committee using the CrossCheck tool (only for the full papers). Please folllow all steps (terminate each step with clicking SAVE) of the submission and finally click on Finish button.
    All contributions will undergo blind peer review to determine their suitability for the inclusion in the conference record.
    The reviewers may require some changes in your paper. These changes are mandatory for your paper acceptance. Please perform these changes, if any, following the steps pointed out above.


    D. Upload into your own account, on the conference website, under previously registered submission (same ID, don't use New Submission):

    • the final version of your Full Paper (PDF file, produced or at least checked with IEEE PDF eXpress) by clicking on ADD A SUPPLEMENTARY FILE(the only available option bellow the Title of your paper),
    • and repeat this procedure with the scanned, properly signed IEEE Copyright form (as PDF file), also as a Supplementary File.

    Please note that only the full papers will be published in IEEE Xplore. If your abstract is accepted you must write and upload your full paper, using all steps described above.
