Paper submission


English will be the official language of the Symposium. 

All full paper submissions will be peer reviewed, the accepted ones being published in the ISFEE 2020 proceedings of the Symposium and, as accepted full papers, will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore.

Please register and upload your paper(s) by creating an account on our website. Note: please check at registration or after, in My Profile, the role Author, in order to have the right to start [New Submission].

In order to submit your contribution, please follow the steps below:
 
A. Write your full paper in MS Word or Latex using

A full paper has 4 to 6 pages.

A. Usehttps://ieee-pdf-express.org to build your PDF manuscript in order to be compatible with the IEEE Xplore format:
  • Access the IEEE PDF eXpress site https://ieee-pdf-express.org (opening: July 1, 2020). Note: this is a new product of IEEE, please follow the provided link https://ieee-pdf-express.org, not the old one (http://www.pdf-express.org).
  • Click “Create account”, if you are in this position, and choose your password and enter 51261X for the Conference ID. The establishment of your account will be acknowledged by e-mail, which contains a validation link (must be followed for confirmation). At the first login you must provide all required information.
  • If you used this software in the past, enter 51261X for the Conference ID and use your old password.
  • Provide all information required and upload your MS Word, Latex file and click “Submit”. You can provide also a PDF file (if created using IEEE Xplore®-compliant PDF rules) for verification.
  • After a short processing, you can take your IEEE Xplore compatible PDF paper from the IEEE PDF eXpress site or from the e-mail that is sent to your e-mail address.

    B. (Only for the first Submission of the Full Paper) Upload your IEEE Xplore compatible PDF paper in your account on the conference website (in Step 3 of the Submission and as Supplementary file for resubmission). This file will be checked for the plagiarism test performed by the TPC Committee using the CrossCheck tool.. Please folllow all steps (terminate each step with clicking SAVE) of the submission and finally click on Finish button.
    All contributions will undergo blind peer review to determine their suitability for the inclusion in the conference record.
    The reviewers may require some changes in your paper. These changes are mandatory for your paper acceptance. Please perform these changes, if any, following the steps pointed out above.


    C. Upload (in Step 3, as Supplementary file) into your own account, on the conference website, under previously registered submission (same ID, don't use [New Submission]):

    • the final version of your Full Paper (PDF file, produced or at least checked with https://ieee-pdf-express.org ) by clicking on ADD A SUPPLEMENTARY FILE (the only available option bellow the Title of your paper),

    D. If your paper(s) is (are) accepted you will receive an e-mail in order to sign the IEEE Copyright form which is mandatory for the inclusion of your paper in IEEEXplore.

    Please note that only the full papers which passed all the above steps will be published in IEEE Xplore.
